Memorandum with Gugushvili's Economic Institute

Memorandum  (Tbilisi,  The 6th  November, 2008) with:

Memorandum of corporation is hereby made and entered into by the  Parties

1.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, a legal entity, pursuant to Georgian law

Authorized  to sign for the University, according to this MOU  Rector George Khubua,

2.Pireus University

Authorized to sign for the University, Coordinator of the project “ Training courses in business at Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University”, Joseph Hassid.

3.Sokhumi State University, a legal entity, pursuant to Georgian law

Authorized to sign for the University according to this MOU, Rector, Professor John Apackidze

4.Tbilisi State University of Economic Relations

Authorized to sign for the University, according to this MOU, Rector Professor Avtandil

Chutlashvili.

5.Tbilisi State University of  International Relations

Authorized to sign for the University Rector Professor Liana Chovelidze.

6.  L.T.D. Georgian Economy and Law Educational University.

Authorized to sign for the University  Rector Doctor of Science Sergo Meladze

It is agreed that  

                            Article 1   The purpose of the MOU

On the basis of the discussions,( referring the project “Training courses in Business at Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University”), held at Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with the collaboration of Pireus University in order to develop mutually beneficial training programs, projects and activities and on the basis of interests expressed by the above-mentioned Universities in Support of Pireus University in order to promote a program at the starting stage (Coordinator of “Hellenic-Aid programm”, Professor  Hassid’s letter dated 14.07.08) the linkage among collaborating Universities will be strengthened in accordance with the overall goals and interests.

                          Article   11     THE COMMITMENTS OF THE PARTIES                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

 1.Javakhishvili  Tbilisi State University shall provide

 a) Sokhumi State University,Tbilisi State University of Economic Relations, Tbilisi State University of International Relations, L.T.D. Georgian Economy and Law Educational University of with a detailed training contents of the training materials to be used.

b)Training experts with the training materials

c)all other materials by which trainees gain, as a result, the following skills:

1.Form students’ groups;

2.Promote team work among students;

3.Involve students in decisions, about projects, formats etc .Support the staff for planning.

4.Evaluate students’ level of motivation.

d) Make premises, equipment available.

 2.PIREUS UNIVERSITY

 With the consent of the Ministry for Education of Greece concerning the extension of the  training program till the end of 2008 at Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University 

a)      Shall provide  the students and professors of Sukhumi University, Tbilisi State University for International Relations, Tbilisi State University for Economic Relations, with “Introductory course of lectures in Business “

b)      Shall pay special attention to all procedures  connected with the training program in order to gain good results

 3.SOKHUMI STATE UNIVERSITY

      a)      In the framework of collaboration shall undertake students’ participation in the program.

b)      Recruit personnel (instructors, local teachers) in which local teachers are educated to realize training courses in Business.

4.TBILISI STATE UNIVERSITY of  INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

 a)      In the framework of collaboration shall undertake students’ participation in the program.

b)      Recruit personnel (instructors, local teachers) in which local teachers are educated to realize training courses in Business.

5.TBILISI STATE UNIVERSITY of  ECONOMIC RELATIONS.

a)   In the framework of collaboration shall undertake students’ participation in the              program.

b)   Recruit personnel (instructors, local teachers) in which local teachers are educated         to realize training courses in Business.

6.GEORGIAN  ECONOMY and LAW  EDUCATIONAL UNIVERSITY

a)   In the framework of collaboration shall undertake students’ participation in the program.

c)      Recruit personnel (instructors, local teachers) in which local teachers are educated to realize training courses in Business.

                                  ARTICLE. 3   EFFECTIVE PERIOD

 The present contract (MOU) enters into force on the date of its signing and shall remain in effect before the date of expiration unless it is extended.

                                  ARTICLE.4     OTHER CONDITIONS

4.1 The present contract (MOU) drawn up in the English and Georgian languages in 6 copies, one copy for each Party, all texts being equally valid, signed and kept by the authorized representatives authorized to act in their respective areas for matters related to this MOU.

4.2 All the amendments and addenda  to the contract are valid only on the basis of the present contract and on condition of being made in a written form and signed by  each representative authorized to act in his/her respective area.

4.3 The terms of cooperation for each specific activities, implemented under the MOU  

Including financial, management, administrative aspects, shall be mutually discussed and agreed upon in writing by the parties to the initiation of that activity. These project Agreement shall be subject to the terms of this MOU and shall be attached hereto in Appendix.

                        LEGAL ADDRESSES OF THE PARTIES

In witness where of the undersigned, representing their respective Universities, hereby sign and approve this MOU in 6 copies, every signing Party.

Memorandum with Georgian Technical University has been signed on 5 February 2010 we are collaborating in:

• Organizing scientific conferences and debates in Economics and Law

• Preparing joined publications

• Contribution for publishing proceedings

• Joined supervision for BA, Ma papers

• Contribution for getting high qualification in each fields.

Memorandum with Gugushvili's Economic Institute has been signed  on 3 November 2008.

• Organizing joined debates

• Using each other's scientific library

• Joined supervision of BA and MA papers.
